A striking example of contemporary studio glass, this tall, cylindrical vase is features a dynamic abstract composition reminiscent of Cubist and Modernist design. Crafted using a combination of etched, sandblasted, and clear glass techniques, the surface is layered with bold geometric forms in matte black, yellow, frosted opaque, and transparent. The contrast between opaque and transparent elements creates exceptional visual depth, while the interplay of glossy and textured finishes adds sculptural dimension from every angle. On the base, it is signed R. Orom, and dated '01. This stunning piece is both functional and collectible, ideal as a centerpiece or art object in a modern, postmodern, or eclectic interior.
