Vintage teak flip top desk by Peter Lovig Nielsen and Jens Quistgaard, made in Denmark. It has an innovative design with a hinged top that flips down, expanding the work surface to accommodate another person on the other side in a partner desk style. There are four smoothly working drawers, one of which locks, with interesting wood handles on one side, and plenty of small storage spaces on both sides of the desk. It is a beautiful statement piece with plenty of workspace for today's work-from-home jobs. This particular desk was made in 1978, and it retains its Lovig Dansk Design and 1978 stamps on the underside. It has been refinished and is in very good vintage condition with some minor wear consistent with age and use. 63.75" wide, 28.75" deep, 29" high, 34.25" high at the back, when the top piece is flipped over it is 38" deep.
