Broyhill Brasilia walnut desk with finished back and cane privacy screen, made in the U.S. in 1965. This iconic mid-century collection debuted at the 1962 World's Fair in Seattle, modeled on the architecture of the then new capital city of Brazil. This piece features the signature sculptural arcs on each side, original brass pulls on the four dovetailed side drawers, and sculpted tapered legs. It's a well-made piece that's a nice size, not overly big, and it can be used against a wall or out in a room. It's in good vintage condition with some expected wear from age and use, but nothing particularly noticeable. 56" wide, 23" deep, 30" high. Kneehole is about 21" wide and 25" high.
