This imaginative hand-built ceramic sculpture depicts a fantastical creature with oversized, upright ears and a wide, rounded face marked by tiny pierced eyes and smile. Sculpted from clay, the figure features an expressive, organic form with irregular contours and surface texture, emphasizing its handmade nature. The creature's body is lightly glazed in soft shades of pink, lavender, and cream, giving it an iridescent, dreamlike quality. Perforations along the sides, back, and crown suggest it may have served a functional purpose-possibly as an incense diffuser, small lantern, or purely as a decorative folk art object.
