This vintage hand-crafted bowl is believed to be made from natural birch bark with decorative sweetgrass lacing and detailed stitching, showcasing traditional Native American craftsmanship. The oval form features warm, aged patina and visible hand-sewn accents throughout, highlighting the artisan's skill. The base and rim are reinforced with what looks like wrapped reed, and the stitching pattern adds structural and visual interest. Likely mid-20th century or earlier, the bowl exhibits wear consistent with age and use, including surface scuffs and minor losses, particularly to the base, enhancing its authentic, timeworn character.
