Vintage industrial drafting chair featuring a molded wood seat and backrest mounted on a black metal frame. The chair retains its original adjustable height mechanism, operated by a lever beneath the seat, with a notched steel column allowing for incremental height positioning.The seat and back are formed from shaped wood panels with visible grain and a warm finish, secured with exposed fasteners. The frame consists of tubular supports with a circular stretcher/footrest and four splayed legs terminating in metal feet caps. This piece shows age-appropriate wear, including surface scratches and patina to the wood and finish loss and oxidation to the metal components, consistent with industrial use.
