This monochrome intaglio etching features a stylized profile of a rooster, rendered with curved fine-line engraving across the comb, wattles, and feathers against a stippled, dark tonal background. The artwork is printed on heavy cream paper featuring deckle edges along the top and bottom margins, as well as a visible embossed plate indentation framing the composition. Condition reflects authentic vintage age and handling, noted by an irregular torn section along the right margin edge, light perimeter toning, and small surface smudges in the margins, while the printed impression itself remains strong and undamaged.
