This pair of vintage brass toned frog sculptures features a charming and lifelike representation of crouching frogs, rendered in mid-leap posture with outstretched limbs and webbed feet. Each frog is cast in possibly solid brass with a substantial weight and displays unique personality. The surface is richly textured with detailed patterning across the back and limbs, evoking the natural skin and musculature of real frogs. Raised eyes, defined toes, and splayed legs add to their realistic form, while the underside shows clean casting with lightly smoothed edges and red wax pencil markings-possibly inventory numbers or pricing from a previous collector or dealer.
