Large handcrafted studio pottery dish featuring a hand-painted coastal scene in cobalt blue, depicting a rocky shoreline with a lighthouse and seabirds in flight. The plate has a natural matte glaze with visible wheel-thrown rings on the unglazed base. The artwork is rendered in a painterly, sketch-like style with subtle detailing and expressive brushwork, typical of mid-century American or European studio pottery. Unsigned but shows the influence of coastal decorative arts from the 1950s-1970s. In good vintage condition with minor glaze skips and natural firing marks consistent with studio production. Ideal as a wall display or tabletop centerpiece. Vintage condition as pictured. Dimensions Approximately 15.25”L, 0.75”thick
