I love creating these clay ornaments, because they allow me to blend my background in environmental science and love of native Pacific Northwest plants with my passion for art. I hope it brings you as much joy as it does for me making them! Created with a strong, durable clay, painted with bronze fluid acrylic paint, and strung with natural twine. This ornament was created pressing a live sword fern in Seattle. All my plants are either pressed out in nature without harvesting the plant, or they're pressed using plants that have already fallen.
