This French Provincial style chest features three spacious drawers with richly carved foliate detailing and shaped panel fronts. Each drawer is adorned with sculptural leaf-form pulls and a central carved escutcheon, framed by a molded border that echoes traditional 18th-century provincial design elements. Constructed of solid wood with a warm medium-brown finish, the chest showcases hand-cut dovetail joinery at the drawer corners, visible from the interior. The drawer boxes display natural wood interiors with age-appropriate patina. The case features rounded front corners, a subtly overhanging molded top, and a shaped apron with decorative cutout detailing along the base. The side panels are inset and framed, consistent with traditional cabinetmaking techniques. The drawers operate smoothly and provide generous storage.
