A striking watercolor on paper featuring an abstracted mate figure in a rear-facing pose, painted in rich washes of violet, rose, ochre, and white against a green and teal background. The artist employs loose, gestural brushwork and color blocking to define musculature and movement, giving the figure a sculptural presence. Yellow accents emphasize contour and motion, while the minimal background adds contrast and depth. The piece is signed with the initial "H" in the lower right corner. The verso is labeled "F194 PETER 1.25.16," indicating the model's name (Peter) and the date of completion. The composition is both expressive and minimal, balancing figuration with abstraction in a distinctly modern style.A compelling work for collectors of contemporary figurative art and modern watercolor studies. Vintage condition as pictured Dimensions Approximately: 15"L, 11"W
