( Available by online purchase only ) This exquisite Art Nouveau porcelain bowl dates to the early 20th century and features finely hand-painted decoration in the classic aesthetic of the period. The rounded form is complemented by a delicately scalloped rim, lending a soft, organic silhouette typical of Art Nouveau design.Encircling the bowl is a continuous pattern of stylized pink flowers, each framed within flowing green linear garlands.The blossoms are detailed with fine black outlining enhancing the graceful curves and botanical elegance of the motif. The subtle greyish-white glaze on the body provides a gentle contrast to the floral decoration,while light surface crazing and patina consistent with age add character and authenticity The bowl is unmarked but likely of European origin, possibly German or Austrian, where this form of hand-decorated porcelain flourished.
