This signed raku vase has a white crackle glaze across the neck and shoulder, meeting a lower body of copper, green, and gold flashing characteristic of raku firing. Two incised bands circle the piece where the two finishes meet. The ovoid form tapers toward the base and opens to a wide mouth. It suits a shelf, a mantel, or a console.
