This iconic piece is the Adjustable Table E1027, originally designed in 1927 by the pioneering Irish architect and furniture designer Eileen Gray. Widely celebrated as one of the ultimate masterworks of the 20th-century modernist movement, it is even included in the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Eileen Gray originally conceived this versatile table, which effortlessly slides underneath a bed frame or sofa base, for her famous modernist avant-garde beach villa, E-1027, located in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the French Riviera.
