This Aubusson style needlepoint carpet works a deep black ground into a central oval medallion of scrolled acanthus and a compass rosette. Pink and ivory rose garlands, ribbons and trailing foliage fill the corners and run the full border, finished with a soft rose guard band. A grand floor covering for a formal dining room, a living room, or an entry hall.
